PSYCHIC, SPIRITUAL AND COSMIC RAYS
In
the long, long ago, before recorded history in that real or not real time of
Atlantis, Master Souls knew a great deal about Rays and their power. They used them freely. Much time passed. Civilizations disappeared and the knowledge of the Rays faded
away. Perhaps misuse of them may have
contributed to the disappearance of the civilizations. It is our challenge and privilege in today's
world to be channels for the return of the Rays to help insure that our own
civilization shall reach the perfection for which it was created.
To
learn of them, their works and power is a deep and vital science. Perhaps the most important thing to remember
is that the rays must be tempered to the level of the one who is using them as tools
and to the level of the one being treated.
The
greatest and the least in unfoldment receive a blessing from these outgoing
streams of energy. They spread
everywhere and we may all tap into them.
If this were not so, only certain ones would be helped while others
would be hurt.
It’s
important now for us to remember the meaning of the word “tempered,” for this
is a protection against too much power.
To activate this tempering, we need only say, “Let these Rays be
tempered to my needs and to the needs of those who receive them. Thank you, Holy Creator of all, that this is
done,” or words of a like nature.
When
this tempering takes place, the Rays become absolutely conditioned and safe for
both sender and receiver.
PSYCHIC RAYS
This
group is probably better known and used more frequently than any other and yet
they are of the least importance. They
generally show up in the astral (second) aura, the one that reflects the
emotional nature of an individual.
Those who see and use these beams of light for good purposes read that
particular aura and ask Creative Source to heal the difficulties that are
evident.
The
colors of this aura flare out and change hues according to the mood of the
person. People who use chemical
assistance to be able to see this color display say, “I’ve seen those wonderful
flames dancing around and Man, do they send me!” But what does that accomplish?
When a dependence on the chemicals develops, the physical body, astral
aura and the other auras of the user are damaged. Is there any positive result from seeing the colors just to look
at them? Think of the radical change in
the mental state, involving distortions of reality and the wear and tear and
the physical and spiritual deterioration!
A
splendid young man, a family acquaintance, was given LSD without his knowledge
some time ago when that drug first came out.
He was unable to overcome the effects.
His mother and he lived many states away from his father. Perhaps his dad might have helped but surely
he must not have realized the agony of Joseph’s need. This fine l8-year old athlete who was scheduled for a college
sport’s scholarship preferred to take his own life than to burden his beloved
mother with the flash backs for which it seemed they could find no help.
There
was great emotional confusion everywhere but rather than point fingers of blame
for the tragedy, let us offer a “Prayer of Transmutation” which may be used in
this situation or any other which presents itself.
PRAYER
OF TRANSMUTATION
“Beloved
Universal Mind, we ask that through your great Love, all thoughts of hatred,
envy, fear and grief sweeping our world today may be transmuted into Love, Joy,
Faith and Peace. We ask that all
poisons polluting our bodies, minds and auras, our earth, air and water, shall
be transmuted through your great love.
Amen.”
This
prayer came direct from Creative Source and is available for use in personal
affairs, political situations, any time there is a need of it.
SPIRITUAL RAYS
Spiritual
Rays shine into us from our Creative Source.
They fill us and go out through us to all that we touch. They shine as a result of our dedication and
love, our willingness to be used, our joy of life.
They
are frequently evidenced in works of art by those souls gifted with the desire
to express their spirituality through their own particular medium. The art works of the Renaissance period have
haloes around the saints, Mother Mary, the Christ Child, the Angels and
helpers. In recent times we have had
Sulamith Wulfing, Germany’s enchanted artist who last lived in the Netherlands
because she had to leave her homeland during Hitler’s regime. Her work is so spiritual that it has been
said that flickering images flit through her radiant and powerful
illusions. She grew up in the deepness
of the Black Forest where she felt akin to angels, gnomes and fairies. Her paintings are splendid spiritual visions
through which these beings seem to shine with an unworldly light.
In
today’s world we look at the experience of Rick, a fine young man,
representative of family influence, his own inner instincts and some help from
those dear to him. In the last few
years he has come into a realization of his spiritual self. He exudes tempered spiritual rays wherever
he goes. His morning meditation time
puts him so in tune with Universal Mind that he shines. One doesn’t need clairvoyant sight to see
the glow. This led to a new career
development. When he contacted store
representatives, his glow went ahead of him and his success was assured.
In
turn he went on into his own business.
His belief in the High Holy One and the angels; his business sense, the
help of his wife and the undergirdings of prayer, he has worked hard, met all
obligations, lived graciously and looks forward to further success and
services.
That’s
the spiritual ray at work in him.
Before he leaves the house each morning he takes time for prayer work
with a candle and a crystal on a table; his Bible, the prayers of protection
for himself and the others he has chosen to be in his fold. He tempers the light of his personality to
others and theirs’ to him.
COSMIC RAYS
The
Cosmic Rays are the greatest of all.
They don’t come from the psychic realm or even the spiritual area. They are from the Celestial realm which is
the Glory of God, the height of Universal Mind, the epitome of Creation, the
highest realm that humanity can touch while still clothed in a body of
flesh. There are other realms that we
will be able to contact and work with when we are freed from the body, but the
Cosmic is as far as we can go on the earth plane.
To
work with the Cosmic Rays, we should be willing to turn the personal will over
to the Divine Will so that our personality doesn’t enter into work of this
scope. Think for a moment as to how
much more wonderful and pleasing the Will of God is in every situation than is
our own will which is often tainted with selfishness, envy, jealousy, greed or
malice. If we get what we want from a
personal standpoint, we may not always be pleased, but God’s will suits us to a
“Tee.”
The
short sentence, “I will to will the Will of God,” repeated many times until it
becomes familiar to us and makes sense as well, will bring about the necessary
atmosphere for the workers on the Cosmic Rays to be useful to us and work
through us.
Don’t
think for a moment that when the physical is laid aside and we leave this
earth, we will lay aside the ray work.
No, we will go into the same work with forces that today are far beyond
our conception. We are to look forward
to this with great joy! We bless our
body temples and live to our highest and the best of our understanding. We remind ourselves often that our body is
the Temple of Creation with a Divine Spark of Eternity within us. We bless our body, respecting it as the
marvelous instrument that it is. We
pour cosmic love upon it – that holy Love of the Highest Expression.
As
we use the Cosmic Rays for ourselves, we have them bless all we touch: ask the
water we drink to be the Water of Life and our food to be the Bread of Life and
it will happen. Agnes Sanford, the late
giant of spiritual healing, told us that during World War II she bought meat
from the vendor who went house to house.
When she unwrapped it, she was sure it was “off-color” (quite near being
spoiled) but she had no more ration tickets so she held the meat high toward
the heavens and asked her Creative Source to make it good enough to eat. It became so! She brought the blessings of the Cosmic Forces to her aid.
Another
friend named Ed was blessed with the gifts of the Rays streaming forth from his
fingers. He used these flames as
healing agents. His challenge was that
he didn't know how to turn them off and they were constantly about him. Mrs. Thedick whom we've mentioned before was
his friend and taught him the proper technique.
These
Rays are for the use of those who are working toward their perfection. At some time perfection will most surely
come to us, so why not this time around?
