DEDICATION
To those who helped me along my special
path:
First, there was my Sunday School teacher. She
described her bliss to us when, alone in the church "parlor," the
room was suddenly filled with a great blaze of Light. She sensed a Heavenly Presence and was overcome with the Holy
Spirit. Even as a teen-ager, I was deeply impressed. I felt that if it could happen to her, it could happen to
me. She’s nameless to me now but she
still shines in my heart.
Another
Sunday School teacher, Maurine Brown, opened further doors. The potential of four of us in her class
appealed to her and she "gathered us under her wing." We studied poetry and art; read books that
stretched our metaphysical horizons and led us to learn of Glenn Clark. Glenn was the founder of the Camps Farthest
Out which were active from the late 1930's through the late 1970's and a little
beyond. To my mind the Camps were an
adventure in heaven living brought successfully down to earth. I feel they have never been matched. They influenced me greatly.
At a 1947
retreat I met Alice L. Sanderson, West Coast representative of the Camps. Words aren’t made that are rich enough to
describe this world citizen and literacy expert ...nor tell you of her effect
on my growing. My circle of friends and
expression grew immensely as a result.
Eleanore
Thedick, founder of the Christ Ministry Foundation, brought to my attention
through my friend Maurine, led my husband and me into the spiritual healing
field. Mrs. Thedick gave her foundation
to us to run a couple of years before she left this plane. We carried on her work and became a channel
for counseling and healing for more than twelve years.
Finally,
Walter Makichen, mystic, seer, musician and personal friend truly stretched me
and saved my life a couple of times.
And now there is this wonderful web site
available to you through my dear one, Rae Karen Hauck. We've known each other well for seven years
but never met in person!
This is
dedicated as well to my wonderful family.
My grandson, Ron chided me to bring this manuscript up to date. My sons, all three, played a part. Allen, the oldest, undergirded my
desires. Keith, in the middle, listened
with a loving ear at a time when I had to have someone truly hear me. The youngest, Bruce, engineered the deal
that brought me into the computer world.
My granddaughter, Alice, rescued me from frantic calls for help on the
computer. All the other grandchildren
have always been there, truly loving and helped me as necessary.
I THANK AND BLESS ALL OF YOU!
